Recognition of Degree :::

  • The degree of Ayurvedacharya, B.A.M.S is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (C.C.I.M.), New Delhi & Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The degree of Ayurvedacharya, B.A.M.S. is recognised throughout the nation.

  • Students who are awarded degree of B.A.M.S. from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) and have completed there internship with the College Hospital can be registered in any State Ayurvedic Council as a Ayurvedic Medical Practitioner in Para 'A'. They are also eligible for M.D./M.S. Ayurved, Post-graduate course in any University.

Syllabus :::
Central Council of India Medicine, Govt. of India, has provided the syllabus of B.A.M.S. Degree Course. It is divided in three stages :
 

First Professional

Duration : 1½ Years

The duration of the first professional is  from month of July to December of next year. The subjects, question paper & full marks are as follows :

Third Professional

Duration : 1½ Years

Compulsory Conditions Regarding Subjects :::

  • Regular attendance

  • Performance in internal Assessment Examination.

  • Practical Record Books, Clinical (Long & Short) case papers.

  • 75% attendance in theoretical & Practical classes.

At the end of the course, an assessment is conducted for about one week to judge the grade of individual students and they are awarded in the college annual function, as per grading given by experts.

 

Students who do not fulfill the above conditions are not eligible to appear in any of the university examination. The annual examination is held as per the university norms.

 

 

Examination Scheme :::
The Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh conducts examination after completion of 1½ years professional. The rules & regulations of the examination are as follows:-

  • The University Examination fee/other fee are not refundable at any cost, if a student does not appear in the university  examination.
